References
Elder Frederick W. Evans-
Another prominent Shaker leader at the time, he witnessed the works of Mother Ann Lee and shared the same beliefs. He was first influenced by Mother Ann Lee herself and it was her preaching that got him to become a part of this faith. He went on later to write more than four books and numerous lectures.

George Fox- Fox was the leader of the Quaker movement which was where the Shaker religion was spawned off of. It was his preaching of using one's inner light and tearing down the boundaries of prejudice that created the platform for Mother Ann Lee's own preachings. George Fox shared many of the same basic beliefs as Mother Ann Lee and could surely attest to that.
